Dr. Frank Welling
F.A.S.Training is owned and operated by Dr. Frank Welling. Dr. Welling is a Chiropractor and Personal Trainer with over twenty years of experience in weight lifting, fitness and training. Dr. Welling is certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.In 2008, Dr.Frank climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (19,340 feet) for charity, raising over $40,000. Dr.Frank is a brown belt in Sambo and a 3 stripe blue belt in BJJ. A silver medalist in NAGA Grappling Tournament. Dr.Frank is a triathlete and adventure competitor competing in numerous events including an Ironman 70.3.
Erik Daly
Erik comes to F.A.S.Training with a bachelors degree in Clinical Exercise Science from Ithaca College, where he also was a member of the Ithaca Bomber football team for four years. He is certified by the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Erik’s experience is quite diverse from his days in corporate fitness with Plus One Fitness in NYC to an Exercise Research Assistant with the University of Maryland Medical Center. The highlight of his experience came when he interned with the NY Football Giants during their offseason program in the summer of 2005 under the guidance of head strength coach Jerry Palmieri. He also has been a client of Frank Welling for the past 10+ years, where he has developed much training experience. F.A.S.Training is excited to have Erik on board.
Matt Biangini
Will be graduating from East Stroudsburg University in May 2010 with a BS in Exercise Science. He played football at Vernon High School. As a sophmore he benched 410lbs. Matt has trained under the FASTraining system for 8 years. He has a passion for training. Matt is looking forward to assisting young high school athletes with their FAST strength and conditioning program.
J.P. Van Alstyne
J.P. is 23 years old and recently graduated from University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Health Fitness and Strength and Conditioning. He was the founding chairman of the U.R.I. Sports Medicine Club. He was also the captain and strength coach of the Men’s Rugby Team. Resistance training has been his passion since high school, where he ran track for the West Milford Highlanders. J.P. brings youthful passion and great new training techniques to FAST.
